The PTSA is fundraising for a new and improved playground! Last year we installed a climbing wall at Twain, which has been a huge hit, but we need to do more. Our current playground isn't big enough to accommodate all of the kids that want to play on it, so we have a plan to re-vitalize our current play structure and add a whole new play structure along with a few other play ground updates. We hope to more than double the opportunities for playing for our kids.

Concessions will be available, for purchase, by the fifth grade class. You’re encouraged to bring a blanket, stuffed animal or pillow. Because this is a family fun event, you must attend with your children.

Pack your bags and hop in the car with Smart with Art as we hit the open road exploring regions of the U.S. in Art! We will drive down to the Grand Canyon to explore chalk pastels, then we will swing by some wacky roadside attractions that will sure to pop off the page. Rock out with us when we drive through Nashville, home of America’s country music and create a musically inspired marker collage, and watch out for snapping alligators in the everglades, when we create painted relief sculptures on canvas. There is so much to create and explore around the U.S.A. with markers, watercolors, paint, collage, oil pastels, chalk, sculpture and more! Don’t miss out on this creative journey from coast to coast! Join us this fall to expand your artistic skills as we road trip around the USA! And as always, Dress for Mess!

This is an ideal way to prepare young builders for the challenge of Engineering FUNdamentals.

Show your school spirit. Order Twain apparel during this one time sale. Wear your Bobcat pride on Fridays and selected spirit days. Orders are due by September 28. All sales final. Orders are custom printed & therefore not refundable or returnable. If choosing to pay by check, please make out to Mark Twain PTSA. Checks must be submitted to your child's teacher within 3 days of order, and no checks will be accepted after September 29.

The Scholastic Book Fair is held during fall conferences in the commons. Hundreds of new books are available for purchase for your self, student, holiday gifts, and classroom donations. Productions are directed by Studio East. All 4th and 5th grade students are eligible to sign up. Limited to the first 50 completed enrollment packets. Students are cast into parts by Studio East, everyone gets a part. Students participate in after school rehearsals and end the session with two performances for family and friends.
